| About us | The Barracuda Championship is an official PGA TOUR event and a regular full-field stop on the PGA TOUR schedule, and is part of the FedExCup series.The internationally-televised tournament brings in millions of dollars in coverage for the region through its affiliation with The GOLF CHANNEL and follows the 132 PGA TOUR professionals competing for a share of the $3.5 million purse. The Barracuda Championship is operated and managed by the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation. Since 1999 northern Nevada charities have benefited to the tune of over $4 million thanks to the goodwill and community outreach of the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation. |
