| Description | Our volunteer tutors provide focused support to school-aged children experiencing homelessness in schools and shelters throughout Indianapolis. Daytime and evening opportunities available with multiple locations. All backgrounds and education levels encouraged. We provide the training! One hour a week can change a child's life. We are now accepting volunteer tutor applications for the Fall 2021 semester.At this time we feel confident that many of our in-person sessions will resume as normal and other placements may be virtual. Please understand that there will likely be a delay to training and tutor placements as School on Wheels and our partners navigate changing schedules and COVID precautions. |
