| About us | Blue Water Community Action (BWCA) is just one of 30 community action agencies in the State of Michigan, and one of 1,100 nationwide. Community Action Agencies are non-profit, private and public organizations established under the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 to fight America’s War on Poverty. BWCA has a 50-year history of successfully providing a variety of programs that assist low-income individuals, seniors and families to become economically self-sufficient. These programs have focused on early childhood education, health and nutrition, new home construction, home repairs, financial counseling and emergency assistance services. |
