Education Center Volunteer

Education Center Volunteers will encourage positive study habits through direct homework assistance during the Power Hour homework time. The subject matter typically ranges from 1st to 8th grade.

Technology Center Volunteers have the opportunity to assist club members with their homework, coding program, and special projects they may be working on. Little Rascals Volunteer

The Little Rascals is a Boys & Girls Club program for kinder youth aged 5-6. Little Rascals Volunteers will assist the kindergarten program supervisor with the student’s programs. This may consist of Power Hour homework help, basic reading, writing, mathematics, Outdoor Play, or even cleaning and organizing the Rascal’s toys. They may also lead an educational and fun activity if they choose. Come have some fun and help a child develop!

Gym & Athletics Volunteer

The Gym & Athletics Volunteer will encourage healthy lifestyles by helping teach the fundamentals of Triple Play to our members. This may range from facilitating a game, sport, or recreational activity with the goal of teaching kids that staying physically active is fun and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Environmental Education Volunteer

Environmental Education Volunteers will inspire youth to learn about the many ways they can make a positive impact in the environment. This may range from assisting the program supervisor in the Creature Care program, the Upcycling club, or assist in cleaning the Nature Room. Volunteers may also lead a skills share workshop such as the animal kingdom, plant identification, planting and gardening, food sustainability, compost, starting a recycling campaign, and much more!

Music Instructor Volunteer

Music Volunteers will teach keyboard and/or acoustic guitar basics for club members with beginner skill levels once a week. The goal of this role is to introduce our members to the basics of keyboard or acoustic guitar. They will learn to count time, structure of songs, count notes, and coordination as well as to appreciate music as a valuable art form.

About us

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Tustin is a youth development program for all boys and girls ages 5 – 18 years. The Club builds character through everyday leadership and guidance in behavior and attitude. Young people of all ethnicities, races, creeds and developmental challenges join together in wholesome recreation, leadership, and enrichment programs. Trained professional staff provide members with positive adult mentors and role models. Nationally recognized programs help young people succeed in school, stay healthy, learn important life skills, pursue interests in the arts, sports, and explore vocational choices. Most importantly, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tustin shows youngsters that someone cares, wants them to realize their full potential, and open the Blue Door to BE GREAT!
