| Description | While working with a Direct Support Professional, a volunteer could be doing one of the following: supporting someone with improving their literacy skills, helping someone to write a cover letter and resume, connecting people with social groups, and/or numerous other independent living skills, post-secondary education options, and vocational goals. Your volunteer time will meet community service hours and may count toward your clinical hours. You can help at community events and/or help out with job coaching a participant or sharing a professional skill that can benefit others. |
