Either as an individual or with a group organization, we'd love your help.Board service and fundraisingWe are always interested in recruiting active, community-minded individuals to serve on our board of directors. We meet monthly, with the exception of summer months, to set policy and strategic direction for the Center. If you have grant writing, event planning, or other fundraising expertise, we can use your help!Work with childrenWe need volunteers to tutor children with homework and reading. We are also looking for volunteers to lead weekly hour-long workshops, such as martial arts, gardening, graphic design, or a gaming club! What are you good at? Let us know!Large groupsWe can accommodate large groups for big projects such as building maintenance, painting, landscaping, canvasing, and more. Please note that we normally ask large groups to make a small contribution ($100-200) to defray the cost of paint, cleaning supplies, etc.Cambridge Winter Farmers Market and The Coast Kitchen VolunteerCWFM, a program of the Cambridge Community Center, runs every Saturday from January to April and always needs some helping hands. The Coast Kitchen is a free monthly community meal program. It runs every third Friday of the month, and we can always use volunteers to help set up and clean up! |
