Children & Youth Services Program Volunteer Opportunities

Description | In hopes of effectively combating Domestic Violence and the resulting effects it has on both primary and secondary victims, WSLB offers services to youth and children. The WSLB Children & Youth Services Program provides children with support by creating a safe and confidential environment. Within this safe space, youth are free to explore how they feel through workshops and art activities. Here they gain knowledge about domestic violence and work towards improving their confidence and self-esteem in a group and/or individual setting. Open to students at the college and university level and professionals with related experience. These volunteers require the completion of the state mandated 40-Hour Domestic Violence Training, background verification (LiveScan), and TB test (current, within one year). |
