Church Liason
| Description | 1. Work with the clergy to identify and reach out to the caregivers and care recipients in the church family who are possibly in need of respite and/or education about additional senior and healthcare services available. 2. With the pastor, recruit volunteers from all adult age groups within the Church, and among friends of the church. 3. Use Respite Volunteer staff for information concerning community resources, the library etc. 4. Be responsible to, and report on the efforts of the church to the Executive Director, as well as to the pastor and Church Secretary about Respite Volunteer information. *(many church secretaries allow RVS to send e- mail updates of Volunteer Trainings and RVS events to be included in church newsletters and bulletins) |
