SupernumerariesSupernumeraries, or "supers," function like extras in movies - they are non-singing, non-speaking parts that help bring the opera to life. Every season, we cast supernumeraries, and each production offers unique opportunities to participate. As a Super, you will share the stage with internationally renowned artists and work with celebrated directors and conductors.Music Hall UsheringAs an usher, you'll make it possible for patrons to have a truly enjoyable Music Hall experience by providing a smile, a friendly greeting, accurate directions, or an extra service.Opera GuildThe Cincinnati Opera Guild is a group of passionate individuals dedicated to raising positive awareness of Cincinnati Opera and the operatic art form through volunteer, educational, and social gatherings. The Guild plays an active role in supporting Cincinnati Opera's education program, which offers a unique series of performances and talks for schools and community groups. |

About us | Founded in 1920 and the second oldest opera company in the United States, Cincinnati Opera presents a thrilling season of grand opera every June and July. The company’s repertoire includes beloved classics and contemporary masterworks, brought to life by some of the world’s most acclaimed opera singers with accompaniment by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. In 2013, Cincinnati Opera launched the Opera Campus, expanding beyond its longtime home, Music Hall, into additional venues in Over-the-Rhine, including the Corbett Theater at the School for Creative and Performing Arts and Washington Park. Year-round, the company offers programs throughout Greater Cincinnati’s many neighborhoods, designed to appeal to opera lovers of all ages. |
