Needs |
SocializationSocializing and comforting scared, stressed animals or even the ones that are super friendly is vital to their quality of life and adoptability. We love when our volunteers spend one-on-one time with our dogs and cats. Many times we get dogs and cats that have shut down or are extremely timid and need some love and attention to learn that people are good.Animal TransportHave car, will travel? Dogs and cats are often in need of medical attention and need transport to the vet for surgeries and drop off appointments. If you are able and willing to bring animals to or from the vet, please let us know!Photography and VideographyHaving great photos is amazing and helps us really show off our cute canines and felines. If you have a camera or can take good photos with your phone, we’d love to get your pics!Play with cats/ walk dogsVolunteering at CCHS is easy! Typically, volunteers come in during our open hours and play with cats or walk dogs (dog walking ends 1/2 hour before we close). Sometimes small groups like to help us with cleaning or other projects, which we can set up in advance. Other volunteering opportunities do present themselves at times and we will post them on our Facebook page and/or on the front counter asking for help. |
