Needs |
Office VolunteersOffice Volunteers assist with special projects in the office, such as filing, surveys, etc.DNL Associate BoardDNL Associate Board members are young adults and are often college students. The Associate Board supports the organization in fund-raising and special activities.Public Relations VolunteersPublic Relations Volunteers represent DNL in the community while manning tables and distributing information about the organization at Health Fairs, Expos, and other public events.Peer VolunteersPeer Volunteers visit individuals who are often isolated and at high risk of being institutionalized, needing social support to remain independent in the community.Access VolunteersAccess Volunteers support DNL staff members in evaluating local businesses and the barriers they present to people with disabilities. The volunteer will take measurements and record them, and may also take photos. |
