Family Day of Service
| Description | Offered on select Sundays from 10-12pm. throughout the year, this 2-hour program includes education about HSHV, shelter tour, a humane education lesson (geared toward age 5-11), a meet-and-greet with an adoptable animal, and hands-on volunteer time. Up to 3 family members of all ages (for each registration we ask that there is at least 1 adult age 18 and older), though our Humane Education lessons are most applicable to youth age 5-11 years. We ask that there is at least one adult (age 18+) per 2 children. While projects are based on our shelter’s need at the time, your family will be able to choose from two project options: either animal enrichment or an adopter “thank you” project. |
