Community OutreachHelp staff information booths and activity stations for community events such as the Run for Education and Boys & Girls Club Day for Kids.Junior VolunteersThe Junior Coach program is a great way to earn required community service hours for school while having fun and helping younger participants develop their golf and life skills. Students 14 years and older are encouraged to participate in the Junior Coach program. Junior Coaches can also be participants in The First Tee programs.Golf Course ProgramsAssist The First Tee staff during classes at golf courses, reinforce life and golf skills during class, set up equipment for classes and monitor safety zones.Special Events And FundraisingAssist with organizing, planning fundraising activities and special events such as our annual tournament & dinner.In-School ProgramsAssist First Tee coaches in local area elementary, middle and high schools with our in-school outreach programs. |

| About us | The First Tee of Northern Nevada is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that teaches young people ages 7-17 life skills including honesty, respect, confidence and sportsmanship through the game of golf. The First Tee of Northern Nevada will never turn a child away because of the inability to pay. Our vision is to instill The First Tee Nine Core Values and thereby provide the vehicle through which young people can achieve their dreams, thrive socially, excel academically and athletically, and become successful adults with integrity, strong family values, and a commitment to our community. |
