The Florida Consumer Action Network is a grassroots organization that empowers citizens to influence public policy by organizing and educating in areas where consumer voices are underrepresented.

Martin Luther King once said, ” Only in the darkness can you see the stars.” At times it seems that the fight for social, environmental, and economic justice is a never ending battle and that we often take 2 steps forward only to fall 3 steps back. Even though times like these are tough, never forget how far we’ve come. Many millions of people have worked together for children’s rights, racial equality, environmental protections, gender equality and more. Together we have made progress the likes of which has never been seen in all of history. And each one of us, every single individual, who stands up for justice and equality, becomes another brilliant star in the sea of darkness. Thank you, and never give up.
