| Description | Coastline’s Senior Corps Foster Grandparent Program offers volunteers, 55 years and older, and who meet income and criminal history eligibility requirements, the opportunity to assist in a classroom with children enrolled in educational programs, such as elementary schools, preschools, head starts, and other youth-based organizations. Foster Grandparents volunteer one-on-one and in small groups with children, focusing on literacy and academics, communication, and social skills which are needed to help a child succeed. |
