Needs |
VolunteerGreet visitors with a smile, get a blanket for a patient who's feeling cold, comfort family members in the waiting room, enhance communication in the emergency departments, staff the gift shops and perform clerical duties. Some volunteers work on various special projects such as flu clinics, children's health fairs and screenings at the hospital and in the community. Volunteers can work any time of the day or night, seven days of the week. The Volunteer Resources Department prefers volunteers commit at least four hours a week. |

About us | Founded in 1915 by auto pioneer Henry Ford and now one of the nation’s leading health care providers, Henry Ford Health System is a not-for-profit corporation managed by Chief Executive Officer Wright L. Lassiter, III and governed by a 17-member Board of Trustees, with volunteer-led advisory and affiliate boards providing additional leadership. Since its beginnings as the East side’s first hospital in 1899, Henry Ford Macomb Hospital has been a leader in advancing medicine and partnering with the Macomb County community to improve the health of those we serve. |
