Needs |
Program-related activitiesAssist with therapeutic riding and hippotherapy sessions (horse handlers & sidewalkers). Assist with program development, clerical work, special events & fundraisers. Assist with animal care (e.g. feeding, grooming, mucking). Previous horse experience welcomed but not required.Building & Landscape ProjectsFacility improvements & maintenance (e.g. painting, fence repairs, building holding stalls). Landscaping & gardening activities (e.g. planting, weeding, woodchips, & rock edging). Clearing riding trails and trail maintenance, cutting up brush piles & stacking. |

About us | Heritage Hill is a 60-acre scenic 19th centuryfarm in Ann Arbor, Michigan that has been offering therapeutic equine assisted programs and farm activities for individuals with special needs since 1999. Michigan Abilities Center, a PATH, International Center, has provided equine assisted therapy programs at Heritage Hill since 2006. In May, 2015 Heritage Hill Haven was incorporated as a nonprofit to help support a variety of therapeutic and educational programs for children, youth, and adults with physical, mental, emotional, or learning challenges. |
