How you help |
---|
About us | HALA offers several direct service programs including Market Match (which provides bonus dollars for low income customers at 25 participating farmers markets); CalFresh Enrollment (enrolling low income persons in CalFresh including SSI recipients, people in re-entry, immigrants, and low income working people); and weekly food delivery to 120 households of blind, disabled or senior residents. HALA educates public officials about powerful anti-hunger legislation in conjunction with other groups statewide through the California Hunger Action Coalition (CHAC). |
