About us | JARC is a Michigan based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves people with developmental disabilities via group homes, independent living support, and in-home respite care. Founded in 1969 by a small group of parents concerned about the future of their children, JARC is known for high-quality, community-based residential and support programs and has led the way in enriching lives and erasing barriers. Today, JARC serves 156 individuals with developmental disabilities in 80 locations, including 24-hour care in group homes and independent living settings for adults, and respite services within the family home for children, teens and young adults. |
