Our mission is to empower individuals from high potential, urban communities by providing them with the tech education needed to compete and thrive in the local ecosystem.

We believe in cultivating creativity, critical thinking, and a sense of culture. JOURNi provides a variety of resources to Detroit, including youth-centered programming courses, to equip individuals with the skills necessary to jumpstart their careers and positively impact the local economy. Our vision is to build an authentically inclusive tech ecosystem in the city of Detroit, by tapping into the heart and spirit of its residents. To achieve this goal, we will provide educational access to immersive courses and youth-centered programming, beneficial employment opportunities, start-up education, and socioeconomic resources within marginalized communities.
