About us | Junior Achievement prepares kids for the business of life through volunteer-led programs that create real-world experiences – teaching financial literacy, igniting an entrepreneurial way of thinking, & building skills for success in careers and in life. Junior Achievement of Central Ohio was founded in 1950 by the Columbus Downtown Rotary Club. Junior Achievement is a volunteer driven, non-profit organization. This year in Central Ohio, more than 2,000 business professionals, parents, retirees and college students will enter our schools to teach Junior Achievement programs to more than 30,000 students in grades K-12. These volunteers use their personal experiences to make the Junior Achievement curricula practical and realistic. |
