Events VolunteerWe need volunteer face painters, activity host and greeters for our Family Farm Festival, Airshow & Family Festival, Daddy & Me Night’s.Teen BoardBe a teen buddy for a special needs child, or help us make exhibits. This board does it all. This committee is open to high school students who want to gain service learning credits and leadership experience and complete comprehensive impactful service for the families in our community.Fundraising Committee VolunteerFundraising Committee volunteers are a social group who engage people in the community in our work. Committee members plan our museum tours that showcase our work, and plan and host our annual fundraising breakfast or lunch in November.New Exhibit Installation VolunteerWe need your help to install our new exhibit!Scientist, Engineers, Early Learning Teachers, and ArtistsWe need volunteer experts to help us with special learning initiatives. We can not fill all the expertise we need within our small staff so we welcome experts in our community to share their knowledge with children and make the museum a strong learning experience.GardenerWe need someone who loves to garden and create learning areas in our garden for children such as composting, a bee and butterfly flower bed and all sort of fun learning opportunities. We need someone (or two folks) all summer long and you can create your own schedule.Planning Committee VolunteerPlanning Committee volunteers network with municipalities, help with administration needs and get us ready to campaign for a permanent building!Board of DirectorsThe Board of Directors of the KidZone Museum is also a committed group of volunteers. Representatives of this group are parents, attorneys, child development specialists and nonprofit professionals.Exhibit Committee VolunteerExhibits Committee volunteers are grandparents, parents and community members who create and build custom exhibits unique to KidZone Museum. The hand crafted exhibits are filled with play that helps a child’s social, physical, cognitive and creative development.Germ CleanupWith so many little hands in the Museum, we always need help to disinfect. If you have time to spare in your day, we would love to have your help! |

| About us | KidZone Museum is a nonprofit children’s museum in Truckee, CA. Our main audience is children up to age 7 with programs for children through their teenage years. We strive to make the world a better place, one child at a time. Filled with imaginary play exhibits, an art studio and science lab with unlimited inquiry based projects to explore, children and families experience JOY every day at KidZone Museum. |
