Land Steward

Description | Since 2008, land stewardship staff and volunteers have treated over 500 acres of invasive species such as Amur “bush” honeysuckle, oriental bittersweet, multi-flora rose, autumn olive, and garlic mustard. Work individually or as part of a group to enhance natural habitat on a designated parcel of CNC land. Projects will be cutting or removing invasive plants using hand tools, and applying herbicides as needed to prevent re-growth. |
