MedWish International (MedWish) is an innovative nonprofit organization whose services are unduplicated anywhere in the region. By partnering with over 100 healthcare organizations in Northeast Ohio every year, we are able to divert approximately 500,000 pounds of medical surplus (useable medical supplies and equipment) from going into landfills on an annual basis. We then sort, repurpose, and redistribute these materials to those in need domestically through our Local & Domestic Giving Program, and internationally through International Humanitarian Aid Program and MedWish Medical Brigades. Items that cannot be salvaged are recycled when possible, keeping them out of the local waste stream. Support of MedWish’s mission will help alleviate medical scarcity throughout the world, profoundly impacting both our local communities throughout the country (with an emphasis on Northeast Ohio), and the developing world.
