Needs

Warm Line Operator

The Warm Line is currently open 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. weekdays and 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. weekends. (requires either certification as Peer Recovery Specialist or completion of the PRS training)

Office Volunteer

Helping compile materials for recovery education and outreach, entering program data in spreadsheets, general office assistance. As needed, generally 9 - 5 Monday-Friday.

Outreach Volunteer

Helping staff our exhibit table at health fairs and community events. Could also help with distributing our program materials to health care facilities, clinics, housing programs, etc. Hours vary.

About us

MHAV is best known for its recovery education trainings, including CELT & QUEST. We also run a Warm Line for Virginians and support a professional development network for peer recovery specialists in the Commonwealth. All our programs are geared toward improving a person’s mental health and empowering an individual seeking wellness.
