Nestbox Caretakers
| Description | Volunteers are assigned a bluebird trail consisting of 7 to 10 nest boxes which need to be checked at least once a week and preferably twice a week. On each check, the volunteer records data about the nest box, such as number of eggs or nestlings. Simple maintenance tasks are also sometimes done at the nest box, such as cleaning. Bluebird trails are checked from mid-March to mid-August. |
