| Description | This position is for the basic care of cats which includes feeding, cleaning, and socializing the cats on-site. There are opportunities at both Charm School in South LA and Charter School in West LA.Charm School: Located in South LA. There is a 2.5 hour commitment once a week and we ask that volunteers commit to a shift. Usually, volunteers work in groups of 2-3, which makes it a great for couples or friend groups looking to volunteer together! We have volunteers on-site from 9am-9pm (Mon-Thurs) and 9am-7pm (Fri-Sun). Charter School: Located in WLA at the NKLA center. Shifts are usually for individuals, unlike the groups at Charm School. AM shifts can start anywhere between 5am-9am and PM shifts can start anytime between 4pm-7pm. Flexible mid-day shifts are also available. Shifts are usually about 2 hours long and we ask for a weekly commitment. |
