Marketing & Social Media InternWe are seeking for a creative candidate with fresh perspective who is quick to learn and passionate about making a difference in the community. The Marketing & Social Media Intern is responsible for assisting in the marketing functions of the entire organization. At the direction of the Marketing & Communications Specialist, the Marketing & Social Media intern will help with or lead the efforts in the areas of public relations, media relations, web and social media; and performs other related work as assigned.Welcome Center RepresentativeOur Welcome Center Representatives will support our Welcome Desk in the following areas: welcoming and assisting visitors, answering phone calls, and distributing mail, among other administrative tasks, learning about OneOC's services, community resources, and our expansive network of partner nonprofits, and supporting our staff. We are seeking individuals who have previous experience serving with a nonprofit, or who are willing to learn and engage in the nonprofit sector.Family Service (FST)Family Service Team (FST) projects are designed to provide children and their families a simple and organized way to build volunteerism into daily family life. Teams of family volunteers serve together as part of our national Days of Service, having fun for a good cause, while learning about the importance of giving of their time and talent to make a difference in our community. Individuals can create their own Family Team (please add FST at the beginning of your title) or join a Public FST Team at any time.Disaster Cadre MemberOneOC’s Disaster Cadre is looking for members to support in the operations of its Emergency Volunteer Center (EVC). The Disaster Cadre Member will: activate, operate and manage Emergency Volunteer Centers in the event of a large-scale disaster, be "Disaster Experts" through various online trainings, training events (including drills) as well as personal and professional development, and act as liason between OneOC and community volunteers.Human Resources InternHuman resource interns will learn through applied practice about the HR role and nonprofit sector. They will offer support through the various duties expected in HR. Interns will also recieve coaching from supervisor, as well as formal, structured training involving classes, workshops, webinars, reading materials, etc. |
