About us | The Progressive Animal Welfare Society, now better known as PAWS, was originally formed by a small group of concerned animal lovers in 1980. PAWS was established as a “no-kill” animal shelter and remains so to this day. In addition, PAWS’ founders realized the importance of providing spay/neuter and medical treatment for all animals in their care. Since 1980, PAWS has found forever homes for over 12,000 cats and dogs and looks forward to serving you for another 30+ years and beyond. |
