Piqua Parents as Teachers

The purpose of parents as teachers (PAT) is to 1)increase parent knowledge of early childhood development and improve parenting practices, 2)provide early detection of developmental delays and health issues, 3)prevent child abuse and neglect, 4)increase children’s school readiness and school success.

PAT is open to expectant parents and anyone with children birth to 1st grade entry. Our goal is help parents give their children the best start in life.
