Schools of Hope
| Description | The Heart of West Michigan United Way Schools of Hope Program is improving the literacy skills of more than 400 students in Grand Rapids Public Schools. The Schools of Hope Program pairs volunteer reading tutors with students in grades 1-3 who are behind in reading. Each students works one-on-one with the same tutor once a week for 30 minutes during the school day. |
