| Description | The Friends of Sloan Canyon is looking for desert hikers to support a trail monitoring program we coordinate under the supervision of the Bureau of Land Management. Volunteers would periodically hike different trails at Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area observing and reporting on current trail conditions to a program coordinator via an online form. We'll train you on trail monitoring techniques and basic safety. Volunteers demonstrating an ongoing commitment to the program may be eligible to participate in free CPR/First Aid and Wilderness First Aid training. |
