Special EventsSHF views Special Events as an integral piece of its overall giving strategy, while at the same time, strengthening relationships and partnerships with people and businesses all across the region. It hosts four special events annually, along with two grant celebrations: Golf Outing (June), Gala (September), Painting the Peninsula Pink (October), Spring Grants Celebration (April) and Fall Grants Celebration (October). |

That mission may include supporting (a) the unmet healthcare needs of the indigent and uninsured; (b) healthcare education programs; (c) supporting programs and research which have the primary purpose of preventing and reducing illness and disease; and (d) other programs to promote the health, education and welfare of the community. |
