Needs |
281-CARE281-CARE is a 24-hour telephone crisis intervention, information and referral service. A 40-hour training will be provided along with ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Training). Requirements: High School diploma or GED, background check, 5-10 hours per week (hours are flexible) and a three month commitment.Fatherhood Community CelebrationEach year on Father's Day, Talbert House hosts this FREE event for dads and families to enjoy a day of games, entertainment, arts and crafts, food and beverages, live music, sports activities, and more.Individual and Group Volunteer OpportunitiesHost an activity, meal, training or workshop for our clients, write messages of hope to persons in recovery, landscape or help with site renovation projects. We welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities. |
