Special Event SupportOur annual gala, Light Up A Life, offers many ways to share your interests and talents throughout the year, individually or as a group. Assist with event elements such as securing auction items or promoting the car raffle. Opportunities are flexible and can be tailored to your schedule.Mock InterviewsHelp youth practice their interviewing skills and build confidence in their job search. As an interviewer from a fictional company, you will get to know students one-on-one and see first-hand the incredible personal and professional growth they have achieved. All interviewing materials will be provided.Guest SpeakersShare your knowledge and career insight with youth during their life skills sessions. The goal is for you to provide fun, informal and informative training on your topic of interest. Topics can range from workplace etiquette, proper attire, personal disclosure, etc. |

| About us | Hope Builders empowers disconnected young people, who are in danger of not reaching their full potential, with the job training and life skills needed to move out of poverty and achieve enduring personal and professional success. Major gaps in education and experience prevent impoverished youth from moving on to community college or to employment with a self-sustaining wage. Hope Builders believes that it has a unique opportunity to impact the ability of our community’s “opportunity youth” to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency.Each training program simulates the workforce and models real-world experiences. |
