| Needs |
Personalized LessonsWe provide tutoring lessons one-on-one via online teleconferencing. Sessions are Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00PM - 5:15PM Eastern Standard Time. Volunteers normally contribute 1-hr 15 min. per week to assist youth in a particular subject.Academic SupportWe offer youth academic support in English, Math, Reading, and Science. I-ASSIST YOUTH is an extension of The Lawn Academy to increase the academic competency of youth. |

| About us | The Lawn Academy is committed to meeting quality standards for mentoring that are safe and effective. The Lawn Academy has initiated the 2-step National Quality Mentoring System (NQMS) process, a national continuous quality improvement process for mentoring programs, by completing a quality self-assessment and review facilitated by Mentor Michigan+, and developing an innovation and improvement plan to promote continuous quality improvement and alignment with evidence-based practices for mentoring. |
