Trail Steward (year-round)
| Description | The Great Neck wildlife sanctuary is an unstaffed site that enjoys a regular stream of visitor traffic. Knowing that, we would like to build a team of dedicated trail volunteers who act as sanctuary stewards, walking the trails on a regular basis and helping us keep the parking lot and trails safe and clear of debris. Stewards would also take note of dog walking activities and storm damage/tree falls at this site. We also need help ensuring trail maps and other visitor outreach materials stay stocked and available for visitors. |
