Mentoring and TutoringWe are actively seeking volunteers from the community and universities in the area. Our goal is to provide tutoring in a wide range of subjects and interests. We are also seeking mentors to provide 1on1 guidance. Our goal is to help provide a foundation for our kids to build a future. | About us | At Turning Point we will equip our youths with the tools they’ll need to succeed in a global society by providing them with the following: 1) Academic Awareness 2) Tutoring 3) Social Etiquette 4) Self-Respect 5) Behavioral Responsibility 6) Economics Awareness. Our overall objective is to teach these young men how to live a purpose filled life by being focused, independent, goal oriented and disciplined to become the leaders of tomorrow and to be model citizens for others to follow. We wish to end the cycle of fatherless children by teaching young men to be responsible providers, protectors and friends. These young men will also learn to build strong, long-lasting relationships with their parents and people of authority. |
