Volunteer Tutor
| Description | Tutors are paired with a student (grade K - 12) and work individually with that student for one hour a week for at least a full-term. School on Wheels provides free training and offers educational workshops and guidance throughout the semester. Volunteers serve as a consistent and caring role model as they help with homework, school projects and academic challenges. Tutors must be 18-years-old to tutor independently; otherwise those ages 14 - 18 must be accompanied by an adult. |
