Thrift Corner volunteers help one day a week from 10am to 2pm by checking out customers and keeping the thrift corner neat and tidy.

Family Days at LA Plaza include multi-generational hands-on workshops that offer an engaging pathway to cultural self-discovery and the appreciation of personal, familial, and community heritage. Volunteers in this area work closely with staff to facilitate art, garden, and culinary art workshops for children and families.

Becoming a docent requires significant time commitment and training. Training takes place on an as-need basis, and we accept only a few applicants for each class. We work with a small roster of professional and amateur photographers who donate their time and use of their images.
