Located in the Valley, West Hollywood, Mid-Wilshire, West Los Angeles, and Venice. Volunteers assist with activities, help to teach classes, or become case aides and meet with clients to complete paperwork and provide emotional support.
Located throughout Los Angeles. At this program, which supports Jewish families that have children with special needs, volunteers can work on a warm line to provide referrals, or visit families to offer emotional support. Home visitors require special training.
Located in the Valley. Volunteers participate in social programs for developmentally disabled adults 18 and older. They can also accompany members on trips, or lead classes.
Located at Park La-Brea. Volunteers assist residents by providing information and referral to community resources, visit clients in their homes, or help with activities. Home visitors require special training.
Kitten Rescue couldn’t survive without the help of our volunteers! We are always looking for help at the KR Sanctuary (animal care and other tasks), at our various pet store enclosures, with transportation, at special events, with fundraising, and for many other projects.
