Often needed for the families living at Sherry’s House and for parents who drop off a child to attend scheduled support group meetings, volunteers focus their time and talents to assist with childcare. On occasion, emergency childcare is needed due to unforeseen circumstances. Volunteers can be placed on a schedule or On-Call listing.
Volunteer opportunities for Family Fun Events include, but are not limited to: registration, food assistants, arts and crafts assistants, characters in costume, amateur photographers, setup, cleanup and event breakdown.

From the quarantine facilities to their foster families, to adoption events where many of our pups meet their forever families, or to their vet appointments! Held throughout the year, our events need volunteers for flyer distribution, raffle and ticket sales, silent and live auction running, event setup, cleanup and breakdown, registration, etc. Volunteers work alongside the event coordinators to manage tasks and responsibilities.
