There are three prerequisites for a volunteer to participate in the TFT system. They must be able to work minimum supervision, own a computer, and work remotely. Our volunteers should be confident enough to make phone calls, conduct interviews and would be expected to use standard office software such as Word and Excel.
Food Pantry, Youth Deptpartment, Maintenance, Community Events, and Administrative.
Greet families as they come to get food assistance from the pantry and help them shop for their items.
Misc. Organization
Pass out food to our clients during pantry hours. Position is outside and interacts directly with clients.
We need help on Wednesday nights before and during the Food Pantry hours and at other times during the week for miscellaneous tasks.
Bring donations, produce, and recycling between the pantry locations. Volunteers must have their own vehicle.
Pack food in bags for our clients.
Load and unload our truck with large food orders. Requires heavy lifting.
